Hank continued to sell peanuts and shine shoes G7 He also got a job on a nearby radio station C F Life was quite a struggle for Hank in his early years C While other kids were devoting their time G7 To school and play Hank was busy making a living C For his mother father and sister
For about the next ten years
Not much happened to Hank F C He was just another country entertainer
Around 1945 he made his first record G7 Which was Honky Tonk C From the day on the star begin to shine F And every record from then on C Made the stars shine a little brighter G7 The last five years that Hank recorded a song C It automatically became a hit

As strange as it may seem one of his latest G7 Records was I'll Never Get Out Of This World Alive C F On the first day of January 1953 Hank Williams C Passed away in the back seat of his automobile
