Hank Williams Sr Lyrics

HANK WILLIAMS image

If there was anyone who could relate to people through their music it was Hank Williams Sr. He sang of true life experiences and that made his songs even more popular. His music will always be fun to listen to not to mention playing our old guitars and singing, learning to do some of the ones that were not as well known is a pleasure.

On New Year’s Day around midnight in route to a show Hank passed away in the back seat of his car. What a tragedy to lose Hank Williams at such an early age. The impact his music had is unmatched and he will always be a legend in country music. Countless artists have done his music and still do to this day. We can be thankful we have a lot of his music to enjoy, even though his career was short.

These country classic song lyrics are the property of the respective artist, authors and labels, they are intended solely for educational purposes and private study only. The chords provided are my interpretation and their accuracy is not guaranteed.

We have a huge collection of classic country song lyrics that we’ve collected over many years. We’re in our retirement years now and singing and playing those great old songs is still our passionate past time. We’re trying our best to promote the “real country music”, it seems to have been forgotten, modern day artists seldom give it a thought.

Hank Williams Sr Lyrics

Jambalaya

Jesus Died For Me

Jesus Is Calling

Jesus Remembered Me

Just Waitin'

Last Night I Dreamed Of Heaven

Leave Me Alone With The Blues

Let The Spirit Descend

Let's Turn Back the Years

Little Paper Boy

Lone Gone Lonesome Blues

Lonely Tombs

Lost Highway

Lost on the River

Lovesick Blues

Low And Lonely

Low Down Blues

May You Never Be Alone

Men With Broken Hearts

Mind Your Own Business

Moaning The Blues

Mother Is Gone

Move It On Over

My Heart Would Know

My Love For You

My Main Trial Is Yet To Come

My Son Calls Another Man Daddy

My Sweet Love Ain't Around

Never Again Will I Knock On Your Door

Next Sunday Darling Is My Birthday

No Not Now

No One To Welcome Me Home

Nobody's Lonesome For Me

On The Banks Of The Old Pontchartrain

Pan American

Please Don't Let Me Love You

Please Make Up Your Mind

Rambling Man

Ready to Go Home

Rock My Cradle Once Again

Rockin' Chair Daddy

Rocking Chair Money

Rootie Tootie

Seaman's Blues

Searching For A Soldiers Grave

Setting the Woods on Fire

Singing Waterfall

Six More Miles

Someday You'll Call My Name

Something's Got a Hold on Me

Sundown and Sorrow

Take These Chains From My Heart

Ten Little Numbers

Thank God

The Angel Of Death

The Alabama Waltz

The Battle Of Armageddon

The Blind Child

The Blues Come Around

The Funeral

The Pale Horse And His Rider

The Prodigal Son

The Tramp on the Street

The Devil's Train

The Great Judgment Morning

The Old Log Train

There'll Be No Teardrops Tonight

There's A Tear In My Beer

There's No Room In My Heart For The Blues

There's Nothing As Sweet As My Baby

They'll Never Take Her Love From Me

Thy Burdens Are Greater Than Mine

Time Has Proven Me Wrong

Too Many Parties and Too Many Pals

Wait For The Light To Shine

Waltz Of The Wind

We Live in Two Different Worlds

Wealth Won't Save Your Soul

Wearing Out Your Walking Shoes

Weary Blues From Waiting

Wedding Bells

We're Getting Closers To The Grave Each Day

When God Comes and Gathers His Jewels

When the Book of Life is Read

When The Fire Comes Down From Heaven

When You're Tired Of Breaking Other Hearts

Where The Old Red River Flows

Where the Soul of Man Never Dies

Why Don't You Love Me

Why Should We Try Anymore

Window Shopping

With Tears in My Eyes

Won't You Sometimes Think Of me

You Better Keep It On Your Mind

You Broke Your Own Heart

You Caused It All By Telling Lies

You Win Again

Your Cheating Heart

You're Gonna Change
